Freedom for Families,
One family at a time
In the areas where we work, families who live in extreme poverty face financial hardships that upend their lives. When a loved one becomes ill and in need of medical care, the family does everything they can to pay for that care. Often, this means taking a loan from a local brick kiln owner with the hopes of repaying the debt. However, the families are then exploited, overworked, paid less than it costs to survive, and charged interest, creating a situation where the growing debt can't be repaid and the debt is inherited through generations. Families live in poor conditions without access to sufficient food, water, medical care, or basic safety. Often, children are forced to leave school in order to help work with their families in the dangerous conditions of the brick kilns.
Our hope is that by sponsoring a family, you can be a part of changing this reality for families who deserve the same freedoms as we do. By freeing these families, you are contributing to a future of hope and opportunity for a family with dreams for a different future, and creating significant, lasting change! When I was 10 years old my father became ill and unable to work, we could no longer afford to pay rent. This left us helpless and hopeless and forced us to move into the brickyard. I began to work making bricks with my parents, the burden of this was so very heavy. - Salomi, 20 yrs old |

Families Waiting for Freedom
The families below are currently living in unsafe, dangerous conditions, stuck in a life of bonded labor working in the brick kilns. When All People Free frees a family from bonded labor, we do so in a way that gives them the best chance at achieving and sustaining a life outside the brick kilns. After paying their debts, we relocate the whole family to one of our restoration homes where they receive support, skills training, education, and health care, all while being provided a safe place to live. Once their time in our transitional programs is up, we then work to be sure they are moving into a life they can sustain, are able to bring in income to support their family, and are situated in a safe location. We continue to follow up with these families to be sure they are receiving the support they need as they pursue a new way of life!
With your help, we can bring hope to each of these families and give them the hope they deserve! Donate below to a family to make a difference in their lives today.

Learn more about bonded labor, slavery, and human TraffickingBonded labor is a form of modern slavery in which people are required to work until their debt is repaid. Often, the wages paid for their labor are less than are charged for housing and food, making it impossible to pay the original debt. It is designed to exploit workers and those in desperate and vulnerable situations, forcing them into slavery.
